Description

By using advanced 3D graphic technology, 3D digital nuclear power plant (NPP) transforms all kinds of physical objects in realistic NPP into dynamic 3D model. 3D digital NPP integrates all kinds of information in NPP with 3D model as the core by using internet and date base technology, forms a virtual integrated system which is visual and has the ability to share resource across different platform. This article described the idea of 3D digital nuclear power plant, and its conceivable application at each stage in the full life circle of a NPP. Planned the framework of 3D digital NPP and imagined the application prospect. (authors)
