Description
Electric conductivity of 27 compositions of the cross section of molten ternary system LiCl-KCl-BeCl2 in the concentrational range of 0-79 mol % BeCl2 is measured. The subordination of rectalinear dependence of specific electric conductivity is shown. A sharp decrease in conductivity when low amounts of beryllium chloride are added and its subsequent change with beryllium chloride concentration increase and the presence of a minimum, corresponding to the formation of low- mobile tetrachloroberyllate ions, is marked on the isotherm. Using the Tubandt way the values of salt crystallization starting temperature are determined and liquidus line of the studied type of phase diagram of the LiCl-KCl-BeCl2 system, which has not been described in literature, is built
