Design of second Angra-1 reload with partial low-leakage reload
Description
This report presents the preliminary physics data for cycle 3 of Angra 1 reactor, with partial 'low-leakage' reload instead of conventionaly shuffling scheme. Five different cases were performed with partial 'low leakage' scheme. The chosen loading presents the lower hot channel factor (FΔH = 1.387) and the larger burnup value of discharged fuel assemblies (38.2 Mwd/Kg). The cycle lenght reached 295 efective power days and the shutdown margins and the reactivity coefficients met the safety criteria. (author)

Este relatorio apresenta os resultados preliminares do projeto fisico para o 3. ciclo do reator de Angra 1, com carregamento 'low leakage' parcial como opcao ao plano convencional. Foram calculados 5 distintos casos com carregamento 'low-leakage'. O plano escolhido foi o que apresentou o menor fator de pico de potencia (FΔH = 1.387) e a maior valor de queima de descargas (38.2 Mwd/Kg) dos elementos combustiveis. O comprimento do ciclo alcancou 295 dias de plena potencia e os criterios de margem de reatividade e coeficiente de reatividade satisfizeram os criterios de seguranca. (autor)Additional details
