Determination of hadron angular distribution and yield from a thick copper target at its bombardment by 3.65 GeV protons

Description
T methods for calculation of shielding against radiation generated in thick targets by high energy particles and nuclei at JINR synchrophasotron experiments on the determination of hadron angular distributions and hadron yield from copper target with the dimensions 100x130 mm, during 3.65 GeV proton beam incident on the target are conducted. Comparison of the data obtained on hadron yield from the copper target per one lastic interaction of initial proton with a number of hadrons per one inelastic interaction for copper nucleus, calculated using the formula, approximating experimental results, has shown a satisfactory agreement between them
