Quasibinary sections through the Y2O3xB2O3-B2O3-3Bi2O3x5B2O3 system

Description
The phase equilibria in the Y2O3-B2O3-Bi2O3 area of the Y2O3xB2O3-3Bi2O3x5B2O3 ternary system, enriched in boric anhydride, are studied. Diagrams of the 3Bi2O3x5B2O3-Y2O3 and B2O3-3B2O3x3B2O3-Y2O3xB2O3 systems state are plotted. Thermal properties of glasses formed in the system are characterized the concentration boundaries of the glass formation area are determined. The impact of the Y2O3xBa2O3 additions to bismuth-borate glasses on their properties is studied
