Composite Higgs and composite fermions
Description
The author gives a discussion on models in which the Higgs boson and the quarks and leptons are composite states. The idea which he discusses is that the Higgs boson of the simplest SU(2) x U(1) model may exist but be a composite pseudo-Goldstone boson, like the pion, built out of strongly interacting fermions at a scale larger than the SU(2) x U(1) breaking scale, v ∼ 250 GeV.
