Study and development of a digital LaBr3 spectrometer with temperature peak-shift correction function

Description
A digital multi-channel spectrometer with temperature peak-shift correction function has been introduced in this paper. The digital signal processing circuit based on FPGA has been designed in our development. The energy spectrum shift of the LaBr3 detector at different ambient temperature has been studied and a temperature compensation algorithm has been designed. The test shows that the developed digital multi-channel spectrometer has good energy resolution and energy linearity, and the temperature peak-shift correction method is effective for LaBr3 detector.
