Magnetic Properties of Fe2O3 Particles Prepared by Sol-Gel Method

Description
Fe2O3 fine particles dispersed in a silica gel have been prepared by a new sol-gel method and characterized. Various samples have been studied by means of Moessbauer spectroscopy for temperatures ranging between 4.2 K and 300 K. The results show that the average particle size and the kinds of Fe2O3 phase obtained (α, γ or ε) are strongly dependent of the temperature on the final heat treatment
