On radiation change of a some quartz parameters
Description
Comparative study for reactor radiation effect on the such crystalline quartz structural-sensitivity characteristics as the optical activity molecular constants and the dispersion refraction capacity is conducted. It is determined that both parameters are changing non-linearly with fast neutrons irradiation growth. It is revealed, that on the radiation action beginning stage up to 1019 cm-2 there is insignificant deviation of parameters from initial value. On the next stage, when dose becomes more than 1019 cm-3, the inclination is increasing. It is suggested, that firstly revealed complete radiation kinetics for considered constants is determining by the quartz crystal structure damage under large dose irradiation. Comparative analysis of obtained optical constant dose dependences with similar ones for the quartz crystals elementary cell X-ray graphic parameters is carried out
