Spectroscopy of a plasma with quasimonochromatic electric fields

Creators

Description

General spectroscopic regularities of plasma with quasimonochromatic electric fields (QEF) are disclosed. Interaction of three subsystems: irradiator (R), QEF(F) and chaotically moving charged particles of plasma (P) is significant for problems of QEF diagnostics in plasma. As a result of the effect of P and F subsystems the irradiator undergoes different forms of stark expansion. It is revealed that spectral line broadening conditioned by interaction of the irradiator with one of the subsystems (P or F) essentially affects its interaction with the other subsystem. On the other hand QEFs can vary parameters of strike expansion by charged particles of plasma. New effects illustrating these regularities are mentioned and it is suggested that they should be used for QEF diagnostics in plasma
