Centers of luminescence in Y2 Me3O12(Me=W, Mo)
Description
The spectra of luminescence of isostructural Y2 W3 O12 and Y2 Mo3 O12 are investigated. The division of luminescence spectra into elementary components by the Alentsev-Fock method is carried out. Bands with the maxima of about 2.65, 2.33, and 2.03 eV in spectra of luminescence of Y2 W3 O12 and about 2.65, 2.15, and 1.7 eV in spectra of luminescence of Y2 Mo3 O12 are considered as ones due to radiational recombination of excited associative donor-acceptor pairs Y3+ - O2-. These bonds are related to certain distances between yttrium (donor) and oxygen (acceptor). Bands with maximum of 3.06 eV in Y2 W3 O12 and 3.15 eV in Y2 Mo3 O12 are interpreted as those appearing on emission of oxygen vacancies
