Description
We calculate inclusive B decay rates separated according to angular momentum and flavor quantum numbers. In addition to the usual short-distance corrections genuine long-distance effects arise once a separation into longitudinal and transverse components is carried out. We give predictions, which do not involve any adjustable parameters, of branching ratios for all physically relevant channels. Our results differ substantially from free-quark-model predictions. We find agreement with data for semileptonic decays and for the inclusive decay B→FX
