Solid solutions based on CdCr2Se4 with complex cation substitution

Description
The synthesis of solid solutions of Cd1-xMnxCr2Se4, CdCr2-xVxSe4 and Cd1-xMnxCr2-yVySe4 type is performed. The specimens are prepared by solid-phase synthesis. Established is the possibility of formation of solid solutions based on CdCr2Se4 with complex cation substitution in the compositions region: 0 ≤ x ≤ 0.4, for Cd1-xMnxCr2Se4, 0 ≤ x ≤ 0.3 for CdCr2-xVxSe4 and 0 ≤ x, y ≤ 0.2 for Cd1-xMnxCr2-yVySe4. Manganese ions isomorphously substitute cadmium ions in tetrahedral positions, whereas vanadium ions are distributed along cadmium and chromium sublattices
