Description
To search possibility for iodinated oil nanometer ferrofluid retention in rabbit liver. Methods: 131I-iodinated oil nanometer ferrofluid and hard magnet powder were injected into rabbit liver right lobe through portal vein, γ- calibrate meter showed continuous γ counts in local liver. Then the relative metabolic parameters was determined. Pathological examination was conducted on left and right lobe livers, and lungs, the right lobe livers were examined under electron microscope . In control group only 131I- iodinated oil nanometer ferrofluid was injected in animals. Results: Animals in the experimental group had longer drug local stagnation organism half eliminated time, and the slower portions were more than that in the control group. More damage was found in the right lobe. Conclusion: There is opportunity for 131I- iodinated oil nanometer ferrofluid to delay drug local retention in body which is worth advanced studying
