High Pressure IR Studies of Correlated Electron Materials at SPring-8

Description

The highly bright infrared (IR) synchrotron radiation from SPring-8 offers various research opportunities, including high pressure IR studies of correlated electron materials using a diamond anvil cell. We present our recent results on the reflectivity studies of an f electron compound CeRu4Sb12, at high pressure up to 8 GPa and at low temperature down to 40 K, measured in both far- and mid-IR ranges.
