Identification of the charge state of atoms in high-tc superconductor lattices by the comparison method of NQR/NMR 63Cu data and emission Moessabauer spectroscopy 67Cu/67Zn

Description

A linear dependence between quadrupole interaction constants C(Cu) measured by NQR/NMR on 63C and C(Zn) measured using emission Moessbauer spectroscopy on 67Cu/67Zn is ascertained for copper nodes in bivalent copper metal oxides. Any deflection from this dependence for a particular compound may indicate either a notable difference of the copper charge state from +2 or a different orientation of Z-axes of tensors of electric field total and crystal gradient (EFG) on 63Cu. A similar deflection from a linear dependence between C(Cu) and the main component of the calculated tensor of the crystalline EFG in the copper nodes allows one to detect the accepted model difference from actual charge distribution in the HTSC lattice points. 28 refs.; 2 figs.; 1 tab
