Fabrication technology of superconducting material
Description
The development and fabrication of superconductors is influenced by: critical temperature and upper critical field, depending on the alloy type; critical current density, depending on internal structure; and magnet size, dependent on degree of stabilization, which in turn is based on high conductivity substrate and on the mechanical reinforcement required, in intermetallic compound solid diffusion conductors. In solid solution superconductors, these parameters must, in addition, be compatable with electrical and mechanical properties and on microstructure of the composite
