Description

The anomalous behaviour of Z=2 fragments form interactions of 60 A and 200 A GeV 16O projectiles with a nuclear emulsion was studied. The fragments were classified into categories according to their multiplicity and according to the number of heavily ionizing target particles, i.e., the corresponding impact parameter. It was found that anomalous mean free paths are clearly apparent only in the case of 16O fragmentation into 4 fragments with Z=2. (orig.)

Abstract (German)

(orig.)
