Forming magnetic islands in a current layer
- 1. Leningradskij Gosudarstvennyj Univ. (USSR)
Description
Theta pinch ''UN-Fenix'' plant is used to show that current layer regular changed magnetic structure presented as a chain of islands resulted from spontaneous growth of random initial disturbances. The rate of this process in a wide range of plasma parameters is contolled by its conductivity
