Instrumentation of kinetic spectroscopy-17. The use of a diode array multichannel detector in kinetic experiments
Creators
Description
The use of a commercially available diode array multichannel detector in kinetic experiments is described. The advantage of using such a detector is the ability to immediately record a complete spectrum from UV to IR with one measurement. It takes 25 ms to record a full spectrum, making this apparatus suitable for applications which start in the millisecond time domain. The experiment, i.e., the arbitrary recording of spectra as well as the irradiation of the sample, is controlled by a computer program according to a preset timetable
