ADA as a tool for simulations on massive parallel systems and for hard real-time applications

  • 1. Nantes Univ., 44 (France)

Description

Current large scale applications in Nuclear Physics (as molecular dynamics models and data acquisition systems) are increasingly requiring more computing power and may exceed the conventional computer capabilities. The use of highly parallel systems is preconized as a promising approach but requires new software methods. We discuss the possibilities of the program language ADA in the parallelization of simulation models and acquisition systems
