Characterization of surfaces by low energy helium scattering

Description

Low energy (11 MeV-63 MeV) helium scattering is used in probing the surface properties of three metals, two epitaxial crystals, Ag(111) and Au(111) and a polycrystalline W(100). Quantum conservation equations for low energy atomic scattering are presented in three commonly used experimental coordinate systems
