Anode behaviour of silumin AK8 modified by antimony in the medium of NaCl electrolyte

Description

Anode behaviour of AK8 alloy alloyed by antimony in the medium of NaCl electrolyte of 0.03, 0.3, 3.0 % mass concentration has been studied by means of potentiostatic method. Corrosion electrochemical characteristics of alloys with antimony content 0.01, 0.05, 0.1% mass have been revealed. It has been shown that lowest corrosion rate has AK8 alloy with antimony content of 0.01-0.05% mass in the medium of NaCl electrolyte of 0.03% mass concentration.
