Method to produce uranium hexafluoride
Description
Uranium hexafluoride can according to the invention be prepared by reacting xenon difluoride with the uranium compounds: UO3, U3O8, UO2F2 and UF4 at temperatures of 57 to 1500C and pressures of 10-3 to 200 torr. The compounds are used in approximately stoichiometric mole ratios. (UWI)

Uranhexafluorid laesst sich erfindungsgemaess durch Reaktion von Xenondifluonid mit den Uranverbindungen UO3, U308, UO2F2 und UF4 bei Temperaturen zwischen 57 und 1500C und Drucken von 10-3 bis 200 Torr herstellen.
