Description
The NRX and NRU research reactors at Chalk River have played a vital role in the development of the Canadian power reactor system from the initial concept through to maturity. The successful work described here in areas of power reactor design, transient fuel testing, and reactor control, indicate the role that these reactors have played, and are continuing to play, in this development programme.
