Monte Carlo analysis of thermal-spectrum averaged measurements of eta of 233U and 235U
Description
Monte Carlo analysis of the Oak Ridge National Laboratory measurements of the fission neutron yield due to the absorption of a 2200 m/sec neutron in 233U and 235U, respectively, yields: eta2200233 = 2.3019 +- 0.0086 and eta2200235 = 2.0746 +- 0.0078. The analysis was confirmed by calculating measured quantities employed by the experimentalists in their determinations of eta2200
