Creators

Description

Wind farms take part to the economic standard of small towns by bringing fiscal incomes that have dropped sharply due to the reform of the local business tax. Normally measures are provided for by the law to compensate this income loss but the compensation is not expected to be complete. This article describes the public projects that have been achieved in 2 small towns owing to the setting of wind turbines on their land. Other municipalities have chosen to develop and operate themselves partially or completely, wind farms to get more income. (A.C.)
