Progress on the control of miners' exposure to radon daughters

Description

A summary is given of the system of control of radon daughter exposure in mines under the Ionising Regulations 1985. Some results on current levels of exposure are briefly discussed. Methods of personal dosimetry are described including the performance of the NRPB radon gas dosemeter. (UK)
