Calibration of radiation dosemeters
Description
Official dosemeter calibration has been introduced in the Land North-Rhine Westphalia on July 1, 1979. A special calibration laboratory has been established under the Dortmund Bureau of Standards which since then is responsible for calibration and control, recording and evaluation of calibration data, and for the development and purchase of suitable testing equipment and for setting up testing methods. The activities are briefly reviewed. (orig./HP)

Seit dem 1. Juli 1979 werden in Nordrhein-Westfalen Strahlenschutzdosimeter geeicht. Diese Eichungen werden in einem speziell dafuer konzipierten Eichlabor durchgefuehrt, das dem zustaendigen Eichamt Dortmund zugeordnet ist. Die Ueberwachung, Erfassung und Auswertung dieser Eichungen, die Entwicklung und Beschaffung von Pruefmitteln sowie die Ausarbeitung von Pruefverfahren fuer Strahlenmessgeraete gehoeren zu dem Aufgabenbereich.
