Anisotropic luminescence centers in CdS monocrystals doped With Li

Description
Studied are polarization characteristics of an ''orange'' luminescence band (lambdasub(max)=0.660 μm at 77 k) in monocrystals of CdS:Li. The analysis of initial spectra for non-elementary property by the Alentsev-Fock method permitted to establish a complex composition of spectra. Polarization diagrams of luminescence were measured for elementary components. Corresponding luminescence centres are shown to have a complicated anisotropic structure. Their orientation in a crystal is determined, and a micromodel of two types of complex centres of luminescence is proposed
