Processing of liquid wastes from uranium hexafluoride conversion to uranium dioxide

Description
A survey is given of methods used so far for converting uranium hexafluoride to compounds not containing fluorine, such as ADU and AUC techniques, of methods of processing wastes from these techniques, and of methods of waste treatment after uranyl nitrate extraction including waste solution treatment after uranium hexafluoride conversion with iron(III) nitrate or calcium nitrate.
