Structure and alloying element distribution in chromium-nickel cast iron after radiation heat treatment
Creators
Description
The structural changes and peculiarities in the distribution of elements in chromium-nickel cast iron after electron radiation heating (RH) ate studied. It is found that considerable changes to the depth of about 1.8 mm take place during RH. In the case of short term effect by the electron beam pearliti phase transformation to austenite takes place, while during cooling-austenite transformation to martensite and partial graphite and cementite dissolution take place
