EPR of SO3- ion-radical in natural calcium, strontium and barium sulfates

Description
The EPR method has been used to study paramagnetic centre SO3- in monocrystals of natuAal sulphates Ca, Sr, Ba. Hyperfine structure from 33S is disclosed and measured in these minerals for the first time. Low symmetry effects manifesting in non-coincidence of axes of g- and A-tensors are revealed. Dynamics of one of the SO3- types in anhydrite is investigated
