Influence of structure state on temperature dependence of dysprosium magnetization
- 1. RAN, Inst. Problem Sverkhplastichnosti Metallov, Ufa (Russian Federation)
Description
Investigation into temperature dependence of dysprosium (Dy) magnetization in various structure states is carried out. It is shown that antiferromagnetic (AFM) state does not occur in Dy in sub-microcrystalline state and ferromagnetic state is observed up to Θ2 temperature. AFM-order formed after annealing under 373 and 473 K is determined to be more stable to the effect of magnetic field than AFM in Dy monocrystal. High-temperature annealing of specimen reduces its magnetic properties completely. 8 refs., 2 figs
