Thermal hydraulic analysis of the formation of 'cold plumes' during a LOCA 10 mm on the hot leg for the rated and zero reactor core power
Description
The thermal hydraulic analysis results are given for scenarios of the title accident where 'cold plumes' can be expected to form in the cold leg with high-pressure injection and in the corresponding segment of the downcomer. The boundary and initial conditions for the analysis were taken from the results of calculation by the RELAP5 code. The analysis itself was then performed by using the modified NEWMIX code. (author)
