Influence of phytate on the uptake of Ga-67 citrate into the liver, spleen and bone
Description
In Ga-67 scintigraphy conducted following liver scintigraphy with Tc-99m phytate, hepatic uptake of Ga-67 was low. Based on this experience, an animal experience was performed. Ga-67 citrate administration following phytate resulted in lower Ga-67 uptake into the liver, spleen and bone than in the control was noted. Though the mechanism of such phenomenon remains unknown, some influence of phytate on the reticuloendothelial system was suspected
