A modified Born approximation calculation for the electron-hydrogen-atom ionisation collision

Description

A new calculational method for the electron-hydrogen-atom ionisation collision is suggested following a possible mechanism for ionisation. The method has been tested for certain kinematical conditions and satisfactory agreement with the experimental results is obtained. (author)
