Α-12C scattering in α-particle model
Description
The independent α-particle model provides simple description of the multiple α-12C scattering. With the helping of high energy Glauber multiple scattering theory, the α-α amplitude was deduced at first. In the second step, this α-α amplitude is used as the elementary amplitude to calculate α-12C scattering on the basis of the α-particle model. The numerical result of differential cross section for α-12C elastic scattering at Tα = 1.37 GeV is given and evaluated
