An examination of some of the aspects of the IAEA regulations for the safe transport of radioactive materials

Description
The IAEA regulations have normalized the risk resulting from the transport of radioactive materials not in special form as LSA, LLS or exempt consignments with reference to type A consignments. This paper recommends that performance standards consistent with the basic assumptions should be specified in respect of LSA, LLS or exempt consignments. (author)
