A Moessbauer study of Y2O3-doped iron-tin composite oxides
- 1. Zhongshan Univ., Guangzhou (China)
Description
The α-Fe2O3-SnO2 and α-Fe2O3-SnO2-Y2O3 materials were synthesized by using chemical coprecipitation method. Microstructure and grain growth of these materials were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and 57Fe Moessbauer spectroscopy. The experimental results show that Y2O3-doping may restrain the growth of grains, and the size of the nanocrystalline α-Fe2O3-SnO2-Y2O3 depends on the sintering temperature
