Structural properties and magnetic susceptibility of iron-intercalated titanium ditelluride
- 1. Ural'skij gosudarstvennyj universitet, Ekaterinburg (Russian Federation)
Description
Structural peculiarities and magnetic susceptibility of titanium ditelluride, intercalated by iron, are studied. It is established that the basic motive of crystal structure by intercalation is preserved and the iron atoms are locates in the van der Waals gaps in positions with octahedral coordination. It is shown that the magnetic susceptibility of the Fe0.25TiT2 sample increases approximately by 20 times. The magnetic susceptibility for the Fe0.33TiTe2 samples becomes even much higher
