Study of the free volume in Fe5Co70Si15B10 and Fe40Ni40P14B6 systems by positron annihilation

Description
The amorphous systems Fe40Ni40P14B6 and Fe5Co70Si15B10 have been investigated in the as-received state and after annealing in the temperature range 25-450 deg C. Both systems show remarkable changes in the S-paramters upon crystallization. For the latter system an additional influence of impurities on the properties in the amorphous state could be observed.
