On electropolishing silver for transmission electron microscopy

Description
There are a number of nonaqueous, noncorrosive electropolishing solutions based on salts in organic solvents such as methanol. As examples, the authors list recipes for Nb, Ta, Pd, V, Mg, Au, and Zr and Ti. This paper presents a similar three-stage procedure for silver that avoids the use of cyanides normally used for Ag and Au
