Attempt to Comparison the Efficiency of Different β Current Detectors with Different Emitter and Insulator Materials at High Temperatures (800°C)
Description
Automatic translation: The operation of nuclear facilities, especially those of Nuclear power plants in high-performance operation require constant Development of measuring instruments that provide information about the respective Indicate the operating status of the system. Interested in primarily the representation of neutron-initiated Nuclear reactions through direct or indirect detection methods. So far, gap chambers have been used with good success at low temperatures, but these require the supply of a external high voltage to the measuring point in the reactor core. Novelties Measuring instruments, so-called ''Self Powered Neutron or β-current detectors'', the basic principle of which was discovered in 1938 Ferramt [1] has been described as a patent specification the main advantage of small dimensions, an application without high-voltage supply, and that of in-core use too in high-temperature reactors.
Abstract (German)
Files
