Description
Dehydration process of coprecipitated aluminium and zirconium hydroxides was investigated. It was established that at high aluminium to zirconium ratios (9.66:1 and 3.27:1) coprecipitated hydroxides contained crystalline phases, at low ones (0.412:1) - amorphous deposit formed. Crystal oxides of aluminium and zirconium of different modifications form at raher high temperatures when heating coprecipitated hydroxides with high aluminium to zirconium ratio. Heating of coprecipitated hydroxides with low ratio Al:Zr=0.412:1 leads to formation of tetragonal or monoclinic ZrO2 forms
