Comparison of designs of small-power high-temperature helium cooled pebble-bed reactors

Description
Design features of small-size high-temperature gas-cooled reactors in a metal vessel are analyzed. The basic designs with double-vessel arrangement (heat sink is placed into a separate vessel) are compared with those having single-vessel arrangement (a steam generator is installed under the reactor core). The typical advantages and demerits of these two designs of high-temperature reactors in a metal vessel are given
