In order to obtain a good knowledge of crack growth acoustic emission signals, Framatome has implemented a R and D program. The main objectives were to develop a wave pattern recognition method which could select growing crack signals from interference signals. A reliable industrial application to survey PWR critical zones with a fast response is intended

Afin d'avoir une bonne connaissance des signaux d'emission acoustique de fissuration FRAMATOME a entrepris un programme de R et D. Les principaux objectifs sont de developper une methode de reconnaissance de forme appliquee a des signaux de fissuration dans de l'acier inoxydable, qui selectionnerait les signaux de fissuration parmi des signaux d'interference.
