A new approach to reactor noise analysis by the dynamic data system (DDS) methodology
Description
The goal of identifying a mathematical equation from the observed data has been reviewed and the method to fit the data to a difference equation directly by the Dynamic Data System (DDS) methodology is introduced. A differential equation can be derived from the fitted difference equation and the dynamic parameters can also be obtained. The applications of DDS in the reactor system identification are illustrated by case studies as (1) the BWR reactor stability analysis, (2) the time constant estimation of temperature sensor, and (3) the time constant estimations of pressurizer and pressure sensor of PWR. All the results show that the identification of reactor systems could be accomplished by the data obtained from normal operation without perturbation. (author)
