Influence of grain boundaries in YBa2Cu3O7-delta specimens on captures magnetic flux
Description
A study of YBa2Cu3O7-delta ceramics produced by a solid-phase technique showed that crystallite boundaries are responsible for various values of captures magnetic flux in various specimens. Specimens with high captures magnetic flux are characterized by monolithic skeleton of tightly fitted grains with low-angle boundaries, which do not prevent current passing. Separate particles located at grain boundaries play the role of flux pinning centers. Refs. 15, figs. 6
