Possibilities for probabilistic assessment of the Kozloduy NPP safety power supply systems reliability
Description
The Kozloduy NPP Safety Power Supply System (SPSS) for units 3 and 4 is a safety support system providing uninterruptedly power for all other safety systems in any operational states, as well as in case of accidents. A reliability model of the system was developed using the fault tree method. The model is based on a software code SAPHIRE, created by U.S. NRC. In this report the system's reliability parameters determination, the SPSS fault tree model and data for equipment failures are given and discussed
